If you haven’t seen this video already, we don’t know where you’ve been. This may be the most phenomenal YouTube video ever. In this video a hot headed 50 year old black guy picks a fight with 67 year old white guy over a misunderstanding about the black shining shoes on a bus in Oakland, CA. After the old white guy walks away from the argument the black guy doesn’t want it to end. So he jumps up in the old white dude’s face and punches him. And what happens next, well, just take a look….
Mike Greenberg has released a formal apology for greeting his audience on Martin Luther “Coon”, he means King day. After a little research we discovered that Greenberg’s statement may indeed be a common accident. We here at The Afro Pick have dug into the PBS archives where this accident of saying “Coon” instead of “King” seems to be a common mistake. Don’t believe us? I just came home from the Knicks game and found out about the mess that was created by my garbling a sentence on our show this morning; I apologize for not addressing it sooner.
And I’m sorry that my talking too fast – and slurring my words – might have given people who don’t know our show the wrong impression about us, and about me.
I feel horrible about that, because nothing could be further away from who I am and what our show is about.
I would never say anything like that, not in public, or in private, or in the silence of my own mind, and neither would anyone associated with our show, and I’m very sorry that my stumble this morning gave so many people the opposite impression.
Mike Greenberg should be fired as swiftly as the slurs from his tongue.
Okay this cop means business and that he’s not to be dealt with. This drunk really gets it as he refuses to obey an officer. Police brutality or did he ask for it? Maybe a little bit of both. But to all criminals who like to disobey the law, make sure you don’t cross this cop. He means business.
